- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, collection, payroll, and tax, across the company and its subsidiaries.
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, prepare regular financial reports, and present findings to the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting system processes, tools, and controls.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as sales, operations, and HR, to ensure alignment and achieve financial objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as the VP Finance or the leading finance professional in a high growth B2B tech company.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in finance and accounting roles.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, CPA certified.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Experience navigating the financial, tax, regulatory and compliance frameworks of multiple subsidiaries.
- Excellent knowledge of the IFRS.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial guidance and influence decision-making at the executive level.
- Fluent English – writing and verbal skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with NetSuite platform. NetSuite implementation experience is an advantage.
- MBA or advanced degree - an advantage.
