Band 4 in accordance with the Buloke Shire Council Enterprise Agreement
The position is responsible for undertaking road grading maintenance and construction on Council roads, within townships across the Shire through:
- Undertaking programmed and preventative grading works for the delivery of safety improvements on Council’s road network
- Ensuring Council’s road network is maintained in accordance with the Road Management Plan 2021-25
- Ensuring a high level of presentation and public safety is achieved with the maintenance of Council’s civil infrastructure.
Operating a motor grader to undertake civil construction and maintenance works, the position is to effectively supervise maintenance, construction and other road related works as required, to ensure site initiatives and timeframes are achieved. The position assists with worksite preparation, measuring, marking and basic levelling and is responsible for helping to establish and maintain worksite/ workplace activities.
