RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the global production network environments is available 24x7
- Configure, install and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN appliances, servers, …)
- Maximize network performance
- Evaluate new hardware and software solutions
- Daily system monitoring and health checks
- Provide support for network related issues
REQUIRMENTS
- Deep knowledge of networking systems and protocols (routers, switches, load balancers,etc)
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, DNS)
- Experience in LAN/WAN (Ethernet, Fiber)
- Experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP/MPLS)
- Experience in configuration and management of firewalls and switches (Palo Alto, Cisco, Dell)
- Experience working in an enterprise datacenter environment
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Willing to work in an on-call system
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Vmware
- Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with DAS/SAN technologies
- Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Zabbix, Nagios,...)
