The Opportunity
Responsibilities
- Oversees business strategies, methodologies, and benchmark for the various business functions within data center services.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by building a strong base of referenceable accounts.
- Approve and maintain all ranges of data center related policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals.
- Perform a variety of supervisory, administrative and operations-based duties required to assure the proper and timely flow of work.
Preferred Qualifications and Abilities
- Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- General education above Secondary 5, plus adequate level of relevant experience as Operator. Post-secondary qualification, or Tertiary education is preferred.
- At least 3 years experience in computing operations, with at least 1-year supervisory experience.
- Skills / Knowledge
- Be well versed in the implementation of system and operation at the macro level.
- Ability to communicate, negotiate, and work effectively with customers and with top management and other functions in the organization.
- Ability to provide performance monitoring and manage people.
- Knowledge of emerging standards and technology of the IT sector.
- Understanding and experience in planning, developing, and managing the areas of data center services.
- Project management, resource planning and control techniques.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems arising from operations procedures.
