This is what you will do:
The Product Manager, together with the customs solutions team, is responsible for supporting, improving and growing the Spring Clear portfolio. By means of sharing customs and product knowledge with internal teams and participate in external customer meetings, analysing and interpreting data, carry out product analysis on price, quality and performance and initiate improvements to keep the standard of the products up to par. This also include supporting activities like administrative support and creating supporting documentation.
Together with the other product managers and marketing team you will lead, initiate and participate in sales & marketing projects to increase the awareness and sales and organize regular training and publish in-and external communications about the Spring Clear services but also on global markettrends, regulatory changes and customs legislations. Next to that you will participate in, initiate and/or lead the development of new services.
The workload is mainly determined by the market demand and the users of the Spring Clear products within the Spring countries.
A sizeable part of the job, is to jump in, into daily issues and requests, in a wide variety of activities. These activities can be very wide spread:
- Active role during new customer implementations;
- advising on customer issues and questions; liason with CX and sales teams;
- active role during tender processes, creating e.g. supporting documentation;
- analyse and structurally solve quality issues and orchestrate input for quality dashboards;
- operational support on in Hubs when required: implementation new processes, new solutions or customers.
Je verantwoordelijkheden
Spring Clear services are commercial e-commerce services to non-EU destinations including customs clearance. The Spring Clear portfolio is under development and currently covers 5 key destinations and represents a revenue of 8 million per year. The aim is to further develop this portfolio by adding at least 4 more destinations and 2 added services in Q3 2023/2024 and reach a yearly revenue increase of 9%.
Wat breng jij mee?
- Minimum bachelor or Master degree;
- minimum 3 years’ work experience in a relevant commercial environment;
- minimum 3 years’ work experience in a portfolio management or related function;
- background or passion for Ecommerce and/or Customs;
- a good understanding of customer needs, supply chain management principles and product management/development.
Furthermore, you recognise yourself in this:
You have good commercial skills and an eye for detail. You have good communication skills and are able to use this at various levels. You are known for your decisiveness.
