Warehouse Supervisor – Night Shift

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the warehouse department in all operational disciplines and ensure operational excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible to train warehouse personnel to ensure a well-coordinated shipping and receiving plan.
• Responsible for scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing to pick and load pallets at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
- Directs the night shift activities of the warehouse. Such activities include shipping, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
- Responsible for maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform the distribution functions.
- Recommends equipment requirements and replacements to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Responsible for recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and discipline of direct reports.
- Timely reporting and compliance with deadlines
- Research, identify, and present new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
- Performs other duties as needed/assigned.
