At Topsoe, we’re problem solvers. We work together to rewrite the future of green energy and the production plant in Frederikssund has an important role to play. Here, we produce catalysts that greatly speed up chemical processes, helping companies all over the world to reduce their carbon footprint by using less energy.
As An Operator You’ll Contribute By
- Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment
- Keeping the production running smoothly and monitoring the production processes
- Conducting minor maintenance tasks or replacement of production equipment
- Constantly improving our production and working environment.
Our production runs 24-7. You’ll join a team of five to ten operator colleagues, a team leader, and team assistants.

Working hours
We work 35 hours a week primarily in 8-hour shifts on weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends. You have to be prepared to work both day, evening and night shifts.
“It fits perfectly for me with shift work. Once I got used to it, it’s great to work a lot in a certain amount of time and then have four to five days off,” – Seyit Kilic, Operator.

“We get on really well with each other. We’re very different and from vastly different cultures, but what we have in common is, that we collaborate, and we have fun. And it’s great with free fitness and a canteen program, that’s open at all hours,” – Thomas Søager, Supervisor.
Throughout the year, you can participate in different social events and parties. You can also join some of our social clubs in the staff association, such as the fishing and cycling clubs, go-kart events, and much more.

It’s An Advantage If You Have
- experience from a similar job as an industrial or process operator, however it’s not a requirement
- a healthy physique as you will work most of the time standing up or walking
- tried working shifts before
- a truck certificate
- can speak Danish on a beginners level as a minimum
